Dirty popup appears when we close a work item in update screen without making any changes in the case screen.
After opening a case in the update screen the user tries to close the case without making any changes to the screen. Then dirty pop up appears and display a message like “ You are about to close an open work item which has changes that have not been saved.” . I need to display dirty pop up when the screen is dirty only. Any idea?
Ideally you should NOT see the dirty pop up if you made no changes to the form.
Are you sure, there are no changes made to the UI. No automatic refreshes ? Say for e.g. if you are using a tab layout with automatic refresh enabled and you switched between tabs, the page is still considered dirty .
Can you check if you are able to reproduce the issue while running one of the OOTB pega flows ? PegaSample-Task. BasicProcess ?
thank you for you reply. As per my analysis dirty popup appear due to one OOTB dropdown control and a custom control in the update screen. Dropdown load the data through data page at screen loads. then screen become dirty.basically I need to know is there way cleardirtystate. i tried pega.u.d.clearDirtyState(); but it didnt work.
