Question
Do Java Applications like Swing ,AWT has any integration support & solution for issues arise in pega Robotics Studio
Hi
I would like to know does Pega Support or anyone has any solution/can provide any guidance for the issues arise in Pega Robotics Studio while working on Java desktop based Swing applications, because from past 4 months am facing lot of integration issues when running or develop Automations on java swing (1.8v ) desktop applications using Pega Robotics Studio 8.0.1080,which have not occurred in Studio 8.0.1058,have already raised SR-C21622 & had WebEx with Pega Support Executive ,but we didn't get any resolution for the issues. which I have posted in my below post but I didn't get any reply from anyone. So I would like to know whether these issues occur because of product issues of Pega Robotics Studio version 8.0.1080 or java application issues which are not spported by pega because when ever I have post my query on Java application integration issues I never got any reply or suggestion for my posts not even reply from Pega Support team resolved these issues. They usually ask to share the logfiles but most of the client projects, as per the policies we are not allowed to share single piece of code or screenshot,in this case how we can get the issues resolved?
Please kindly Suggest or reply anything.
Regards,
Pravallika.

Hello Pravallika,
Java applications are supported by Pega Robotics. However, naturally, we can not test against every single Java Application, that is simply not feasible. However, since they are supported, we have a highly trained support team that will work with you in order to ensure that your solution is successful.
That said, if we can not see the application you are interrogating, can not see your automation, and can not see your log files, this makes this process extremely difficult and time consuming. Without looking at least being able to look at the solution design and the log files it is impossible to tell if this is due to an issue with the Pega Robotics product, the target application, or a combination of both.
Looking over the SR it would appear that you have a call scheduled for tomorrow. I believe the best course of action would be to continue working with the Pega Support Engineer and to see if there is any possible way that you could share a log file with them.
Thanks,
Chris
