Does Elastic Search supports Encrypted Column data
We have recently implemented encryption on few properties whose data is stored in encrypted format in database. Since then, Search functionality is not working on those columns data content. Is there any hotfix or workaround available for this.

As per our product specialist, whatever value is there in BLOB would be stored in Elastic Search and is used for content search. So, while doing content search on encrypted property, are you trying to search with encrypted or normal value?

Further more, there is no special setting for searching on encrypted vs decrypted value.
Elastic search would store information as is that is returned by the Clipboard Page. So, when the developer does an Obj-Open on the object, whatever the value is displayed on the Clipboard Page for the user, would be stored.

I have the same question here for a prospect, but I don't understand the answer.
Does it mean that for cases with "encrypted blob" enabled, the corresponding index data in Elastic Search is stored decrypted? Or does it depend on the access right of the latest user who has done an Obj-Open on the object? How are the access rights managed on the search? If I have no right to decrypt the case, I don't have the corresponding search results?
If you have the name of the product specialist, could you please send it to me?
