I tried the below syntax but it's not working ErrorMessage\t+.PropertyName , where ErrorMessage is the message rule and the PropertyName is the property whose value I have to pass . The syntax is working from an activity but when the same is used via a validate rule it's not working. Could you attach the screen shot if it's working for you in a validate rule .
