Email Account - Test Connectivity Failed after https configuration
Application server had been configured from http to https (including the installation of all SSL certificate. The below errors had been triggered while performing the test connectivity for Email Account after enabling the https (attached the log details): Status: Fail:Configuration Message:An SSL certificate that is required for this connection is not installed in the trust store. In SSL configuration, key store and trust store are necessary for connections. If you are using any third party secured connection, you have to use there trust store file. There will be a certificate which needs to be installed in your application server.
Hi All, Create a Dyanmic System setting named as "Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS" in Pega-IntSvcs ruleset which can have a true/false value and Setting it to true will solve the problem. Based on the highlighted approach, the test connectivity issue is resolved.
But is it the best practice to follow the projected approach? . What are all the other scenarios that need to be taken while enabling the Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS? Please advice.
