In JBOSS EAP7 server, there is a standalone.xml configuration file instead of config.xml file available under Weblogic server. So, the proactive-authentication should be added inside the standalone.xml configuration file in order to fix the credential pop-up issue in Pega-API.
There is a tag named <servlet-container="default"> available inside the <websocket> configuration tag. Perform a change and make it as <servlet-container="default" proactive-authentication="false">.
The above configuration will make the changes at server level. In order to do the same at application level, please find below steps.
1. Route to prweb.war file inside the PRPC setup.
2. Extract the WAR file and open the JBOSS-web.xml file inside Web-INF folder.
3. Add the independent tag <proactive-authentication>false</proactive-authentication> just before the ending JBOSS-config tag.
4. Save the changes and repackage the whole to prweb.war file.
5 Go to JBOSS admin console and replace the deployed prweb.war file with the new modified prweb.war file.
