Question
Error with Academy VM: Component stack mismatch in pzLPApplicationDashboard
For the first exercise "Configuring a case type" in the Business Architect Essentials training, I've downloaded and installed the Academy VM C1225-1312 with Pega v8.1.1 (since the online Pega Cloud exercise system didn't work for me). I'm running it on VirtualBox. The Linux machine boots normally. After I launch the App Studio in my browser and login with author_cm@gogoroad, the screen is blank. When I click on "Application Overview" I get the following error:
Display error
Action that failed:pzLPApplicationDashboard-For class:Pega-Landing-Application-Current operator:Object key:-Read/Write:InputEnabledError message:Section 'pzLPApplicationDashboard' execution error on page 'pyLanding' of class 'Pega-Landing-Application'. : Component stack mismatch
When I click anywhere else, the UI freezes...
The Dev Studio seems to work a little better: I can browse the application rules and types. However, it also fails as soon as I try to create a new Case Type. I receive a pop-up with the message "There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator".
How can I solve this issue? Especially, how can I get the App Studio operational to do the exercise?
Hello,
Sorry to hear about the VM issue. Please try logging out of Pega and resetting the VM. Also, when you log back in try using Chrome and log in using a different user for another exercise to see if the issue persists.
