Any thought about below error

ERROR - Unexpected exception caught while trying to send an email message with sender ID of <abc@def.com> and addressee of <pqr@stv.com>:
javax.mail.MessagingException: Can't send command to SMTP host;

We are getting this exception in our production log. This is happening intermittently. We did test connectivity of the email account and the result is good.

We have more than 1000 mails triggered from this email account and out of which few (10-15 ) are getting this error which is creating a fix correspondence assignment and mail is not getting delivered to recipient.

We have worked with our network team and troubleshoot the issue but they are saying connectivity is good also we continuously pinked the email server but there is packet break found.
