Anybody who has appeared for PCBA V 8.0 please confirm if the exam is technical such as the steps of the exercise - Exercise: Designing a user interface is too technical. The assessment questions even at the end of chapter seems to be functional. However, while going through detailed step in exercise of Exercise: Designing a user interface as a BA I feel its too technical and good to understand and not must for the exam. Hence, it would be helpful if some when can please guide me if I need to do such detailed exercise thoroughly ?
To a certain extent, I tend to agree with you that some parts of the BAE course is too technical. As for the exam, many questions are scenario-based, i.e. they provide you with a paragraph of scenario, and you will need to pick the correct response. The exam is designed not to test your memory directly, e.g. which tab in the declare expression rule do you add your expression.
So, follow the steps in the exercise guide, complete your exercises, and fully understand the "why" of what you are doing. Make no mistake... completion of exercise is going to help you to pass the exam! If you have trouble understanding the "why" of what you are doing in the exercise steps, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org and we are more than happy to explain it to you.
