I am required to configure of REST connection in Pega to get external data from external system. As a knowledge base, (1) I need to create activity which calls Data page and the page should have REST connector with required parameters. (2) Once external data is loaded in the data page with JSON format, and it should be displayed in Section because it is required to get the external data in section or csv file. Do you know any procedure or tutorial which is friendly to pega beginner?? I would really appreciate if I have any response from you. Thank you! *I refer to the following page. it is no longer updated anymore.. https://community1.pega.com/community/pega-support/question/external-rest-connection ***Edited by Moderator Marissa to update platform capability tags**** Data Integration × Close popover Facebook Twitter Linkedin Email Copy Link Copied! IN View Profile Send Message br001 PEGA replied to YukiS888 Hi, Kindly use the wizard to crate Rest connector, which eventually created Data page calling the rest connector. Configure the data page to be called by activity (Load DataPage). On next step of the activity, configure the step to convert the Json from rest response to CSV and add it to section. IN View Profile Send Message dwivb PEGA replied to YukiS888 Hi, you can create invoke your rest service through Rest-connector wizards or you can follow the below steps: 1- Click on Integration->Connectors-> Connect-Rest give the external endpoint service URL which you want to invoke . 2. After loading the service 100% successful you can create a Data page for the same Class which is available for the your RESTservice end point URL. 3.Once you are able to run the DataPage with loaded records which is in JSON format you can create an Activity with the same loaded data. 4.In the activity you can configure the step to convert the Json from rest response to CSV and add it to section.
