forcast service invocation cout

Hello Pega experts,

I would like to architect and design a work tracking application that will create work orders from email requests, as well as Message Queues. The application will also call web services to get additional information before routing the work order to work queues.

My understanding is that service invocation (Rule-Service) is counted when external systems call the service rules (like Service-SOAP etc.) under “Integration-Services” category that are exposed from Pega application . I would appreciate if you can please answer the following questions.

  1. 1) Will it count as service invocation for every work order created from a MQ message thru Service JMS (MDB Listener) rule with “processing options” checked as “Method is read-only”?  Pega documentation says if the check box   "Method read-only" selected, the service invocation would NOT be counted. Please confirm…

  1. 2) Will it count as service invocation for every work order created from Email request?
  2. 3) Will it count as service invocation when the application calls external Web service thru connect-SOAP?

Based on your answers, I would like to forecast the service invocation count.  Appreciate your early reply.
