Forgot changed admin password after logged into Pega 8.1.
After the 8.1 installation, I logged in and changed the "email@example.com" password. I forgot what that password is and I am not able to login to the PRPC 8.1 system. Is there anyway I can reset the password or any other operator ID's I can use for the first time login? Any help regarding this matter is highly appreciated.
Firstly, Pega doesn't recommend to change the firstname.lastname@example.org operator until unless you have another way into your application. As soon as we log into the new installation application need to create an Admin access operator and make sure we can able to log into the system with it.
I have the below options at this point of time for you:
I managed to login as email@example.com, but still unable to change my own password. Receive the error message: You are not authorized to create, modify, or lock instance DATA-ADMIN-OPERATOR-ID ADMINISTRATOR@PEGA.COM
Thanks Mahesh for your quick response. Looks like 1 is not an option for me as the operators are disabled. I will try to do step#2 and see if it resolves my issue. I hope there is a way to enable one of the operators from backend. I will keep you posted.
