I have attached the log file. Please open it using Notepad++ or some other equivalent software. It contains lot of NUL values that I am unable to determine the source for. This is happening in PRPC 7.3.1 personal edition installed on JBoss 7.

So : I see the NULLs in there....its double-weird; because they are sandwiched in-between normal logging log entries..... (rather than say - just at the top of the file, or just at the bottom...)
I can see a normal CR/LF ('od0a') before the NULLs start; there is no equivalent CR/LF before the regular normal logging starts up again....
So this is on Windows (Right? you are using Personal Edition)...and I think you are loading the files directly into Notepad++ (etc) - rather than transferring them to another box (which might account for some weird top/tail NULs - but even that sounds weird when the NULLs are in the middle...)
One thing : is there any chance another process is writing to the log file ?
It looks like the NULLs snuck in between two regular 'System Pulse' messages (which are every ten minutes by default):

But we can't tell when the NULLs were written, or whether they were written all at once, or gradually....
Are you still seeing this happening ? or was it a one-off ?
Yes, the PE is configured in windows. Actually it was first installed on Tomcat, then I copied the database folder and prweb.war from Tomcat to JBoss so that I can reuse existing rules. Anyway, I didn't have much custom rules coded - Authentication service, keystore, email listener, JMS listener and 2-3 listener activities which by the way has logging steps. So, I am unable to say whether problem is with my code or OOTB.
This error is not one off, I am seeing it every one or two days. I will monitor it to see if it always is coming between two system pulses or not, or how it is working in Tomcat which might indicate that the problem is with configuration in JBoss 7.
