Has anybody implemented a good, robust approach to keeping the Customer Profile updated in near realtime?
One topic that comes up often when discussing the best way to use CDH technology for 1:1 Customer Engagement by using Pega's opinionated Out of the Box strategies, embodied in NBA Designer, is how to get the customer profile data updated in near realtime. The product provides underlying capabilities such as DataFlows and Interaction History summeries.
We're interested in hearing how have folks have approached this challenge of keeping their Pega customer profile (formally called the CAR -- Customer Analytical Record) updated as customer data changes in other systems. Has anybody out there written their own Data Flows as a near real time ETL tool to reach out to other enterprise databases to pull data into Pega's CAR?
