Hazelcast client/server or embedded
The 8.3 installation documentation states that 5 nodes in the cluster is when we should think about client server mode for apache ignite.
What is the recommended cluster size for considering client server mode versus embedded mode for hazelcast?
Also, Hazelcast needs a license, is the enterprise licensing for Hazelcast included in Pega 8.3 , or must it be purchased separately?
Hi,
There is no such a reference to Apache Ignite in the 8.3 installation guide as Ignite is deprecated in final versions of 7.x versions itself.
The client-server mode feature is not present in Pega 8.3 and most likely be available in future versions.
By default, Pega 8.3 platform uses the Hazelcast enterprise library and doesn't require additional licensing.
Let me know if that helps!
