Previously it was possible to raise an "ask a question" SR; this option has been revoked in the "My Support Portal" in favor of this community. I don't like the idea of asking security related questions related to the current customer/project in the semi-public space of a support community. In addition, the customer would like to get an official Pega statement regarding the security related questions - an SR would have been ideal for this. Could you please advice how the support community caters for the requirements of official statements and privacy?
For security related questions, you can still open up an SR. I believe you can select the Product Defect category and select Security as the symptom. With concerns about privacy and an official statement, it is best that you open an SR for this.
We completely understand your concern and we have a round the clock Moderation Team that is always on the lookout for anything posted that is Security related. We encourage our users to post their questions without including company/security/proprietary information. Should content be shared that is proprietary in any way, our Moderators do remove that information from the post and contact the user via Private Message. If at a point where proprietary information needs to be shared, we will ask that you open a Support Request.
