How big can or should a local data store be?
We are working on an application that has a local datastore for products in the catalogue. We thought there would be about 20 products.
Now it turns out that the number of products in one division is much, much more higher: up to 35,000.
This makes me wonder: does it make sense to keep this in a local data store, or should we define this database external to Pega.
And what is the tipping point?
Hi RobertJanStreng,
I found this older post that may help:
Difference between local data storage and data tables
Let me know if that helps!
