I don't know how it's rendered in Western browser, but in Japanese browser characters are rendered in Meiryo with Chrome, and MS Gothic with Internet Explorer. MS Gothic fonts don't look good and a lot of people I know like Meiryo better than MS Gothic. I know font is changeable from Internet Option but I would like to set it in application side by default. There are a couple of ways to do this but what is the most appropriate to apply this change entirely within an application (not a specific cell or section). I want to modify a single place somewhere instead of overriding many places.

Thanks for the info. I was able to change it to Meiryo entirely. Now, I want to do it in Organisation layer instead of Implementation layer as it is a organisation-wide. When I changed it in pyEndUser skin in organisation layer (MyCo:01-01-01), it did not get applied to MyApp layer as AppSkin skin's default is specified as "OpenSans" as below screen shot. Does this overall font always have to be applied per Implementation layer (AppSkin skin at MyApp:01-01-01)? If so, what does this "inherit from parent" check box mean? Doesn't that include overall font?
