How to create service case with in same I case Pega 8.x CS

Hi All, 

We are using Pega CS 8.X version. When we launch Service case from Add Task button, Service case is getting created in new tab rather than overriding existing I case, like how it was in 7.X version. 

Can someone give an idea to fix it. I see there a quite a few rule changes around CPMPortal rules in 8.X version. 

I have tried playing with pyAddRecentListItem and rules that trigger it. But not much successful.
