Is it possible to disable (Make un-selectable) some of the dropdown options based on some condition. For example:Lets assume we have 2 dropdowns1) DayType : [BusinessDay, Calendar Day]2) Day Names: [Sun, Mon etc..]If we select Day Type = Business day, then Sunday, Saturday should be un-selectable. Only user should be able to select Monday till FridayPlease let me know how can we implement this kind of scenario. Please find the below 2 approaches which might be helpful.Approach1 :Create Data type and use Day Type and Day Name as columns.Add records For Day type as Business Day, add Monday to Friday in the records, if it's Calander Day add Sunday to Saturday as records.Create a datapage and source it with Report definition to get the days by passing Day type as a parameter from the above data type. For the Day dropdown value, use above Data page as source and pass DayType dropdown value as parameter. Approach 2:Use 2 different dropdowns for Day, one with 5 values and other with 7 values as local list.Show 5 values dropdown, when Day Type=="Business" and 7 values dropdown when Day Type="Calander"Use action set as Refresh this section on change of Day Type dropdown value. IN View ProfileYathender PEGA replied to SahulHiI think we can not disable some options in OOTB dropdown values. You can source the dropdown with different report definitions or datapages or with a single report definition or datapage with a parameter that that specifies Day Type.I think you can also disable dropdown options by customization. Something like this https://collaborate.pega.com/question/disabled-dropdown-optionsHope this helps Posted: 10 months agoPosted: 10 Mar 2020 4:07 EDT×Close popoversahul vetcha (Sahul) Infosys Technology Analyst Infosys IN View ProfileSahul Infosys replied to YathenderHi Yathender,Thanks for replying.I have already seen the post https://collaborate.pega.com/question/disabled-dropdown-options.Is there any way we can disable using activity methods or data transform etc? IN View ProfileYathender PEGA replied to SahulHiThis is not possible using Dropdown but you can try using a navigation rule.Use a button and on actions configure create menu:In the OptionsEx(Navigation rule) add the options you need. Here you can disable options based on conditions. You can Enable based on whenrule or based on previlage :)But make sure you configure some text property and set that test property using datatransform and run that on click on the option . You can then display this property on the section. This is something just an idea to achieve your requirement and I dont hink we can achieve the same using OOTB dropdown.Hope this helps.
