How to disable number formatting for charts?
my question about number formatting for chart control, included in section (not about chart tab for report).
By default, chart control rounds thousands to K char, 153230 to 153,23K for example.
Business requirement is show original number without this rounding. How can I disable number formatting?
I found fusioncharts.js text file with charts settings, tried to comment part of script with formatting, or change parameters like formatnumberscale, format number and similar to them, according to fusioncharts documentation, but it has no effect. Looks like something overwriting these parameters.
Thank you for posting the query. Currently there is no way of controlling the number formatting on chart for the above scenario. Currently an enhancement for this is present in Pega UI backlog and may be available in one of the upcoming Pega platform versions post Pega 7.2.2 GA.
Hi Lunav, Our application is in 7.2.2 (BuildName : PRPC-7.2.2-60) , I am still unable to find the options to restrict to decimal places, it still displays 7/8 digits after decimal point(Attached Screenprint). Is there any work around for it. we are using Charts control in UI , not the charts in the reports defn configuration.
Hello, Vijetha, thank you for answer, missed post without notification.
And is it impossible for a local change? I searched for similar solution on forums, in some cases, editing fuchsioncharts helped. But as I wrote in question, looks like number formatting overwrited in another place.
