Want to know there is any OOTB mechanism to handle exceptions in Offer flows. where one of the offer failing at Hand off shape, and we are unable to trace back the issue. So need suggestions to help on how to handle exceptions in Offers and there is logger available for Offer flows or Hand off shapes.
do you want to try below, save the activity "HandOffNewWork" in your application specific ruleset, and add some log entries to debug your issue, and then on need put exception handling there if required. Before customizing "HandOffNewWork" activity, please keep in mind the future maintainability specially during upgrade.
Thanks for responding, we identified the root cause of the issue and while invoking Handoff shape to create OutBoundInteractions, there was a service failure. When there is a service failure the offer goes to Resolved-Failed status (RULE-UTILITY-FUNCTION OFFERFLOWTEMPLATE $INLINEHANDOF) because exception handled in the handoff function itself .
