how to enable the notification for the operators

We are currently working in Pega 7.4.we want to know how to enable the notification for the operators for the below scenarios

1, When case get routed to specific operator (Need to notify operator for the case assigned)

2,When operator have a list of cases within his work list ,for the case, operator is sending an Email to the client and once response email received from client and attached to the case, (Here we need to notify the operator for the response email).
