Question4Replies546Views EVAKONEDANA Member since 2012 2 posts Infosys Limited Posted: 4 years agoLast activity: 3 years 7 months ago Closed How to establish connection with Hive jdbc driverHi,We need to connect to Big Data system using a Hive jdbc driver.We have configured the driver on the Pega server, added the jar file (hive-jdbc-1.1.0.jar) into the lib directory on Tomcat.We then created a Data-Admin-DB-Name rule and are attempting to connect. However, we get the following errorStatus Value: Problem encountered when getting a database connection: code: 0 SQLState: 08001 Message: No suitable driver found for jdbc:hive2://XX.XX.XXX.XX:10000?default Fail Below is the snap shot of the DB Name rule to connect to Hive jdbc driver.We also tried to look up the Java class, org.apache.hadoop.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver, in SMA but that derived a Class not found error.Please suggest how can we establish connection to the Hive jdbc driver.We are working with Pega 7.1.7 Data Integration ×Close popoverFacebookTwitterLinkedinEmail Copy Link Copied! You could also consider importing the jar into the Customer codeset (or another codeset that you define).
