How to remove HTML tags in Mobile UI ?
I have used HTML <center> and <br> tags for aligning the column header in grid layout. When we checked in chrome for mobile responsiveness, and found these tags are visible in column header. What can be done for these tags so that it cannot be displayed along with column header name ? I have attached screen shoots with this post.
You should not use these HTML tags in the value parameter.
Instead, you can use Application Skin, custom CSS achieve your requirement. For example, if you want to show a value in the center you can use App skin and update/add the style there. Or using custom CSS (eg: align: center) for the respective field value. Hope this clarifies your doubt.
You are right. We can acheive this using CSS. But the problem is, If you see quantity column in the attached screen shot, The quantity should be displayed in the center and ordered/confirmed/shipped should be displayed just below quantity. And both these values are in the same column. Thats the reason i have used tags. And also, if we are using checkbox(.pySelected-property) in any of the grid columns, then .pySelected is visible. Kindly clarify if you have any idea, otherwise correct me if i am wrong anywhere. Thanks.
