How to send values from RDA to Pega when Robot activity started without completion of Robot Activity
I have a requirement where i have to set a property to true when automation starts (or runtime is available) and Robot activity got started.
I'm able to achieve it using Set Completion status and Get completion status but my Robot activity is getting completed there and unable to move further.
I have to send values to pega intermittently whenever the steps are completed in Automation. I'm using Openspan 8.1 and Pega 7.3. I'm interrogating Mainframe application and navigating through Mainframe screens.
A majority of this would need to be coded in the platform. I believe there is an UpdateCase REST service available that you could have the automation call to update a field on the case to indicate where it's at. The exact specifics of that would likely need to worked on by someone experienced in the platform, but from the robotics-side, it would just use the REST component and probably the JSONUtils to format the responses and provide whatever data you wanted to collect.
