I want to generate a report which contains case info along with the pdf files in a shared location

I have a requirement to generate a report of cases in which it should show some case data along with the pdf files of correspondence generated for the case placed in some server as well in a shared path. Can some one please suggest how to insert pdf file into particular cell in the report (excel file probably). 

Note: I cannot give the location of pdf in excel report as the user who is accessing the report will not have access to this location. And also moreover we cannot have the pdf's into our local machine as there can be more than 50 pdfs in a report.
