Install the new version of Studio on your machine. Open the existing source code to "upgrade it". Test your solution on your machine as you normally would. Create a new deployment package. Install the new version of Runtime in your test environment. Launch the new deployment package with the new Runtime and perform your normal regression tests to make sure nothing has been affected. In addition, you'll want to test that the issues or features that instigated the upgrade have been addressed.
