Information on connectivity to Mastercom via Secure gateway - SD 7.41

We have gateway layer SSG which will pass on the requests to MasterCom in pega SD 7.41.

  • PEGA SD and SSG connect using two way SSL. We have provided our public cert to SSG and have also installed their public certs to our trust store
  • SSG is only a pass through gateway. They do not tamper with any of the message contents
  • PEGA is generating the auth header parameter correctly (meeting mastercard recommendations) and the message body is also correct

we have received below error in the logs while connecting to MCOM via SSG. Can anyone help us on this?

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: bad_certificate
