Issue with the 'Export to Excel' functionality in Reports
We have a case management application and in one of the reports(Right First Time) we have an issue with the customised columns when it is extracted to excel.
Please find the sample excel sheet attached, where columns #5 till #8 (E3 till H3) are dynamic and fetches the name from custom JSP. Now the issue is, all these dynamic columns have the same name when extracted to excel (seems like the last value is overridden for all the columns at the end on the loop), but the same custom jsp works good with the PDF.
We had a SR raised earlier - SR-B18820 | Report extract not showing correct column labels. And below is the comment from the team:
The issue is with our custom control, However the same control will support for pdf and not for excel, As internally Export to Excel and Export to Pdf are different API’s, Now requesting you to check with our product support community to achieve your requirement.
Request you to help us in finding the resolution.
