mature state of enblement Pega in your organization
Hi there, I work in an company which is working for 11 months with Pega now. so in the beginning phase. We want to build up te knowledge and expertise of Pega. Online training is being done, and for implementing we are working with TCS. Does anysone have experience in growing to a mature organization? i.e. how many (L)SA's and (L)BA's does an organization need?
Regards, Marcel
Hi Marcel,
I'd been a customer of Pega for about 10 years before joining Pega - so I've seen quite a variance over the years :-)
I don't think there's any straightforward answer and in respect of how many LSA/LBAs you need - it really does depend. Do you have a roadmap? Do you just use one application, or multiple, single country usage or multi country usage, do you want re-use and are you looking to create a CoE? The answers to the questions, would really influence team size/structure.
One of the first things I would recommend - is that whilst the team is going through their training, start discussions with TCS on knowledge transfer (KT), get a plan (documented, agreed & signed off by yourselves AND TCS) in place for your newly trained staff to work alongside TCS to start building their confidence & experience and have the view of winding down the partner activity, as your abilities increase. That would absolutely be my first starting point.
In respect of more detailed answer - let me know and I can try to put you in touch with the right person.
Many thanks,
Jo
