Need to customize the "IsFormDirty" dialog
Does anyone know if there is a way to trigger the customizable "IsFormDirty" dialog shown when trying to close work that is dirty (form is edited)? When trying to close a work object from the work area itself it will popup a nice and stylable overlay dialog that is easy to style. But when trying to close work (or execute other action like "Create work") from e.g a left menu a native js confirm dialog is shown. This is a OOTB behavior given from a final rule. We are using Pega 7.1.7

After discussing with the Engineering Team, as part of SR-A760, it was found that we intentionally change to show the js error when cancelling work from outside the WO document. This is done to handle “cancel” in different types of portals like composite , developer , IAC, etc where fetching the exact active document object outside the WO context is not possible always. So currently the only thing that’s possible is to localize the error message in the native JS dialogs.
I understand that you are building a new end user portal with a responsive design and showing a js confirm dialog would not be very nice to show. I have raised an enhancement request. Product Management will take a look into this for inclusion in future release. You can track the same using the feedback id - FDBK-11754.
