Need some more exercises that will help me pass the SSA 7.2 certification exam.
Hi Pega Academy community,
I just failed the SSA 7.2 certification exam for the second time, and I need to better prepare before tying again. To date, I've completed the CSSA 7.2 online training course, exercises, and practice exam. I also have the CSSA 7.2 training application installed and used it to complete the exercises.
The areas that I need to improve in are application design and case design. What I need are more SSA level configuration scenarios that I can complete in my SSA training application. Questions like, "what are the first two steps to configure this requirement", and "steps do you take to satisfy this requirement", are the types of scenarios I need more practice with.
I could also use some UI Design and Application Administration scenarios.
I would be interested in any recommendations/suggestions you may have with regards to the SSA exam. While I have not taken it, just going thru the prep questions the course material does not seem like it would prepare me for the exam. While I don't mind having to study for it, at the moment I am unsure of the best way to ensure I am prepared.
You have to be careful not to confuse PEGA 6.2 configuration steps with PEGA 7.2 configuration steps. Several answers for you to choose from are correct for 6.2, but not correct for this test. So, I had to completely forget the 6.2 way of doing things and look at each question only from a 7.2 perspective.
Currently, I am taking all of the SSA 7.2 questions from the training, and from the internet, and verifying the answers within the training application. Part of my verification includes taking screen shots that support the answer, and pasting them in my notes next to the answers.
The exercises and practice exam are not enough to pass the test. You have to memorize all of the detail in the reading material, and be prepared to identify the correct configuration steps for certain requirements.
I will not be taking this exam again until after I've validated all of the answers within the application and memorized all the answers.
