In List views, source activity was customized to evaluate grand total of a column.
We do not have OOTB capability in Report Definitions to sum up a column and display the total in a separate row.
We tried to summarize and write a function but the format is getting changed .
Currently we are handling it using an Activity to run the report and then loop and evaluate the total for appropriate columns. We have close to 30+ such list views and creating activities for all of these would be difficult to maintain in future.
So I think providing OOTB capability in Report Definitions is a useful feature to have.

The Summarize "Sum" option in a report definition will provide a sum of a column source.
It sounds like your requirement is regarding the presentation of the report or otherwise how the summarized sum is made available - Can you clarify your requirement for how the sum is presented by the report definition?
