Oracle VM VirtualBox and VisualStudio, XDE-Emulator
it is not possible to use Oracle VM VB and the MS XDE-Emulator for Win10 and Android in parallel!
To run Oracle VM VB Hyper-V must be turned off. To do this, execute the following commands - as adminstrator(!)
Turn Hyper-V off:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
Turn Hyper-V on:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
And: don't turn off the Hyper-V features.
When you do this, all XDE virtual machines are damaged! And can't not repaired. The computer must be reinstalled!
The Internet contains many other wrong discriptions to solve the problem. But my solution works.
It wasn't a good idea to go to Oracle VM. The latest VMware Player runs in parallel with Hyper-V. And on enterprise managed computers do you have the rights to perform the BCDEDIT command? And many guys have VMware licenses.

I am guessing you are referring to run PegaAcademy produced VM images on VB, correct? If that is the case, you probably should post your findings in PegaAcademy forums. Strictly, this is not part of the pega product offerings.
Yes. I need the VM Box for the Admin Self Study. There is no excplicit Academy Forum, but Mesh contains a lot of problems with the Oracle VM Box. My finding is very useful for all people who must run the VMBox and VisualStudio in parallel. When this is the wrong group or forum, please give the information to the team in your company who is responsible for this.
