I am almost certain we have not officially tested any of the configuration, otherwise we would have documented in the platform guide. What is your scenario here? I assume this is for some client inquiries. It would be a candidate of enhancement request.
Thank you for your quick response. Customer was to use HA Option for the instance of the DB that's host Pega. One of the drivers for this approach is because they have multiple applications that use the same DB with different schema's.
Please note that after I posted this query, one of my Pega colleague from Singapore mentioned that they do use HA option with "Always On" for SQL Server 2012. Do you think I can ask the customer to go ahead based on the experience of the Singapore Customer or should I wait for Pega to test this
this kind of scenario is not uncommon. You should tell the customer the current pega stand (i.e., not officially supported) with some other customer success (without mentioning the names of course) story on their own. The disclaimer is that pega reserves the right not to address issues for such configuration. Check with your account manager (after filing the enhancement request) if your customer really wants pega's official support.
Hi I am using Pega 7.2. I'm trying to connect to external mysql DB using SQL connector from pega. The column in my external db are of type integer. After running Connector and metadata wizard, all activities are generated but when I run OPEN or BROWSE activity I get the error property 'xyz' not exposed. And when I try to Optimize that particular property from the generated class, I get the following error "
No Valid classes in the hierarchy
Unable to perform property optimization: The table mapped to this class does not have a stream column, so there is no property information to expose. The column must be created manually.
Pls give me suggestions/ideas to fix this issue its very urgent
