You have a maximum of 3 months from the time you pass one LSA exam to take the next exam. If you do not take an exam within 3 months of passing the previous exam, you will be required to retake the previous exam.
I have read the post and FAQs and have one doubt, whether 'Taking an exam' and 'Passing the exam' has same relevance in the context of Retaking Policy.
Suppose I pass LSA Readiness Exam on day 1, then I appear for LSA Architecture exam on 90th day but failed to clear it. Since 3 months is already past, will the 3 time retake policy in 12 month period holds good for reappearing for LSA Architect exam? Can I retake the Architect exam again since I failed though 90 days is over? Or, even the Readiness exam is lapsed?
Request your clarification please...
Recent update on the maximum amount of time between LSA exams: From the Certification FAQ: After passing the LSA Readiness exam, there is no specific time period that you are required to take the Pega Architecture exam and the LSA Architecture Application Build. However, we highly recommend that you take the Application Build within 6 months of passing the Pega Architecture exam.
