Pega 8 Issue on case management- Case Type - Completion Status.
Hi , Recently we have upgraded to 8 from 7.2.I'm facing an issue after the completion of case type which has 2 stages"Approve" and "Completed". The status is going to "Resolved-Unspecified" instead of "Resolved-Completed".The same is working correctly in 7.2.
Please let me know if there is any change in the Pega 8 product on the case types ? I did some trial and error and what i have observed is , its working fine after updating the resolution status field in "Completed" stage to the required status.Not sure if this is the actual fix.
Please help me with the root cause and the solution.
There is a defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The Workstatus configuration is different on Pega 8.1. If a stage is marked as resolution and the status is not provided, it is marked as Resolved-Unspecified in the resolution.

Check you Resolution Flow, if Work status is not provided in flow then pzProcessResolutionStage OOTB activity executes at run time and set the status as resolved unspecified. U need to provide Status at the resolution Stage.
