We discovered an issue with Pega 7.3.1 running in the AWS Cloud. When connecting to SharePoint Online (SPO) we receive an Access Token (AT) and a Refresh Token (RT). The AT is good for 60 minutes and the RT is good for 90 days. Pega provide a checkbox in the configuration to use the RT to get a new AT. After the AT first expired Pega use the RT to request a new AT. SPO send a new configuration file this time with only the AT. Pega replace the current information with the new received information and by doing that the RT is basically gone. The next time the AT expired there is no RT and the user get prompted to login - annoying. The Cloud team recognized that issue and an enhancement was create - FDBK-29667.
We plan to go to Pega v8 wonder if anyone used Pega v8 in the Cloud with SPO and was be able to solve that connection problem or know that it works?
