In web Channel - For the propositions displayed on screen its considered as "Negative" Feedback & when any of the proposition is clicked we get "Positive" Feedback. For a proposition - We might map negative, for display & for a subsequent click we map positive at a time for a transaction. Is there a way we can handle this scenario of not mapping the display feedback to ADM immediately & wait for sometime to receive click, if no click is received thats when the Display to be mapped as negative. We tried this using a Batch Dataflow to filter out the transactions which didnt have click feedback to map display as negative. But want to know if there are any other options to handle this scenario.
In the web channel, it's fine to record a negative on impression and a click when the banner is clicked. It does cause a double count of a negative for each click, but this has a negligible effect on the propensity to click returned by the model. I would recommend to work in that way.
In later versions, but this is only important for outbound, there is a mechanism that will emit a negative response after a specified waiting period has expired,
