Pega auditing feature 8.4 - Prepopulate fields without triggering auditing

Hey guys,

I am trying to pre-populate fields in the case type using an activity (property-set) for viewing and only upon click, will it be editable. I am using case-type fields in order to make use of the new auditing feature as reference in the link below

https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/whats-new-pega-platform/track-changes-cases-improved-field-level-auditing-84

However, when the form loads, the pega auditing feature captures that pre-populated values. And I can't figure out how to overcome this because in the audit table it will register unnecessary values.

Refer to image below. Does anyone know how to populate fields without triggering the field audit feature initially?
