Pega Chat and Cobrowse onpremise Offline packages for version 7.4
Currently during the installation of pega chat and cobrowse packages, it requires connectivity to the internet to download utilities from various domains and complete the installation.
Our project environment doesn't have internet connectivity and we need to perform domain white-listing to proceed with the package installation. There are 150+ domains and 1700+ urls approximately which has to be whitelisted to proceed with installation[attached]. Team considers it as a security threat that there is chance for malicious files getting downloaded into project environment when we white-list the domains during installation.
we would like to know below details from Pega:
1. If Pega has offline Chat and cobrowse packages available for version 7.4 so that it can installed on the environments where there is no internet connectivity?
2. If not available, Is there any plan to release offline Chat and cobrowse packages in future releases?
3. What is the recommendation for installing Chat and CoBrowse on infrastructure that cannot be opened to internet for downloading utilities

we do not have package with pre-installed node modules. You can do node modules installation from the system with internet access and copy the node_modules folder to the system without internet access.
Our infrastructure is not opened to internet hence we are requesting for an offline pega chat and cobrowse package. Even for downloading the node_modules, we have to whitelist several domains which is not a good approach considering the security of the system.
Can you please let us know if there any way we can install the packages on the server which doesnot have access to internet?
Also can you please let us know if there is any plan to develop offline package for chat and cobrowse v7.4 in the near future?
We have tried the suggested option to copy the node_modules folder but we could see that Chat installation is still looking for dependencies from Internet(https://registry.npmjs.org). Hence raised SR-C56399 and waiting for response from Pega.
