Pega Cloud Deployment
“SELLING CLOUD @ PEGA” lesson mentions that only Pega 7.3 and higher versions support Amazon web services (AWS) deployment. Currently our project is using Pega 7.2. So anyone can assist us on below queries?
- Can we deploy Pega 7.2 on AWS?
- If it only supports 7.3 and onwards do we have any work around to deploy 7.2 on AWS?
- And do we have any detailed documentation about Cloud deployment (Specially AWS)?
Hello,
You can deploy Pega software on each server that meets technical requirements. AWS is a service provider and you can create infrastructure that can run all versions of Pega. It is up to you, how you will design and implement on-premise solution. We provide documentation how to install software.
The fundamental question is whether you use Pega Cloud? If yes, then Pega Cloud provides software as a service. Issues like as System Design & Procurement, Upgrades, Expansion, Migration, Maintenance are supported by Pega Cloud.
