Question
Pega Deployment Manager issue - 'unable to find valid certification path to requested target'
Hi All,
We are getting the below error when we try to use the pipeline in Pega Deployment Manager running on Tomcat:
"Caught unhandled exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target."
What we done so far:
- Made sure the self-signed certificate of Pega is imported into keystore for Tomcat to consume. The certificate is still valid.
- Made sure pycallbackurl is proper.
Still we are facing the same issue. Is there anything else we can try to fix this error?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Adhav
Hi Adhav, I'll see if I can find someone to address this question. From just the error message, this sounds more like a server configuration issue than a Deployment Manager issue. In the mean-time, can you describe what you're doing at the time? Is it when you click "Start Deployment" for example? Also, depending upon the version of Deployment Manager, you may have an Actions > Diagnose pipeline option. Please run that and send along a screenshot of the results.
