Pega 7.2 has been deployed as EAR in application server jboss EAP 6.3.3 and OS window server 2012 R2.
Jboss has been configure as a service under Microsoft Windows 2012 R2. Start works fine through service but when you stop the service pega does not stop and service status remain as stopping and there is no error in either pega log or jboss server log.
so it seems there is no stopping signal from service to jboss.
Attached the service_v7.bat which has been used to install the jboss as service through command
We are able to fix the Pega Shut down issue with service (application server jboss EAP 6.3.3 and OS window server 2012 R2.), as said there was no error in log file (pega and jboss), which indicated us this is not an issue with Pega and below solution worked -
Re-started the environment box
Uninstall and re-install the service with controller parameter
