Situation: When I send email to the email address setup in Email handling section, it just creates a case and sends some default message from some out of the box feature in Pega, but not the one which I have set up. what could have gone wrong.
Can someone shed light what could have gone wrong? Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
I tested this on my system and see the email response sent back is configured in the email service method rule. To get there, I opened the Email Listener rule and then opened the Service Method rule. The Response tab has the messages configured. Did you try updating the response messages here?
