We are embarking on a journey to deploy pega as a container on Redhat OpenShift platform and are working with Red Hat team. I requested red hat to create an operator for Pega so that we have a single installable component. Red hat recommendation was that the operators are generally developed by software vendors to distribute to clients and their ask was to check with Pega systems if they have any such offering or plan to do something like this. So my ask is does pega have anything like this planned. if yes, when?

@reddypradeep I deployed Pega on Redhat OpenShift, OpenShift Environment deployed to our On-Prem Cloud, "Installed Operators" is an restricted access for all the teams who are hosting their applications on ReHat. This is something my Enterprise Cloud Engineering is providing/managing.
To my knowledge, Pega doesn't provide any OpenShift Operator's.
@GUMUDAVELLY Thanks for your response. Good to know that you deployed on openshift. Could you please share your experience running pega as container on Kubernetes. Is your application running in production and is it stable?
BTW..The request was specifically for Pega engineering team.

As an enterprise hosting solution perspective, we are evaluating few cloud choices, Red Hat OpenShift is one of them, Part of this PoC, we just ran base PRPC on v853 , worked on few road blocks to connect Pega's docker hub to read the image and deploy the app.
Overall the performance is good and stable. In fact the resource utilization was very less as compared to App hosted on a VM. However, this based on stats that we looked at OpenShift console, not from a load test results.
We do have some heavy transactional systems running on Pega also there are few applications with high concurant user count.
As part of the next steps in our PoC, we are trying to deploy couple different type applications [Case Management vs CDH etc.,] which are unique in their own way and determine the next steps.
