Pega OOTB API for terminating user sessions doesnt seem to be working

The tried using the Pega OOTB API for terminating the user session as an administrator. It doesnt seem to be working.

There is an API available which Terminates all existing sessions in all nodes of the cluster for the given set of users (/users/logout). Even after executing the API as an admin, i get error 403 (insufficient Privileges) issue.

Any pointers to resolve this issue?
