In Pega Call 6.3 SP1 version the activity Initiated(ChannelServices-Event-CTILink) is getting called while doing the outbound call but in 7.x version this activity is not getting called at all. In 6.x in this activity we have done some customization like:Saveing the UCID which we are getting from Avaya.Is there any other activity getting called in where we can do our application specific customization.
My first thought is, has that activity been replaced with another one in Pega 7? The trace should should you what is being called. You may have to take another activity and add your customizations there if the underlying infrastructure has changed between versions.
You'll want to do a wider trace, I think. If an activity is being called in one context and not in another, examine both traces to see where in the good trace the activity is being called FROM, and what the second trace is doing at that point. For instance, does the second trace have logic that skips the call ? /Eric
