Pega platform not allowing XSD validation from rules

Hi,

To validate XMLs against XSDs we basically have two choices : load XSDs from urls or load XSDs from server files. It is currently not possible to import XSDs as rules (or data) and include them in deployable products.

For example, we have to validate incoming web service. We don't want our validtion process to depends on an external ressource (UDDI repo, HTTP, ...), nor want to touch any server file as it is totally against Pega approach (self contained development environnement).

More over, we want to make sure our exposed Pega services are aligned with the then provided WSDLs. As a consequence, XSDs should be managed (stored) inside Pega, whatever how.

Do you think so? Do you have any work around?

Regards,

Bernard
